There’s a lot been said about interview nerves – mainly about how to overcome them. The oldest in the book is walking into the pub opposite and downing a quick whisky before you go in but I wouldn’t recommend it in this day and age. Unless you’re going for the kind of job which could say “must be able to hold a drink at lunch” in its description, whisky breath probably won’t leave a positive impression on your interviewer. What else can you do?
